Insurance can be very complex and confusing with many rules, exclusions, and limitations. Taina will work with you to thoroughly explain the fees and spends countless hours on the phone with your insurance company in an attempt to get the most accurate information she can.
Your specific policy is an agreement between you and your insurance company. This policy was selected through the HR department of your employer. Different insurance companies vary greatly in the types of coverage they provide.
Taina will gladly call your insurance company to get an estimate of your remaining benefits for the year so that you will know what your benefits and your co-payment will be.
There are times when your insurance company will incorrectly estimate your remaining benefits. Please keep in mind that you are responsible for your total obligation should your insurance company misinform us of your benefits.
Your insurance policy may base its payment on an secret fixed fee schedule which your insurance company may choose not to share with us. Should this happen, we will give you the necessary information to call your insurance company and find out the details.
Our office will do the best we can in ESTIMATING your insurance benefits for your treatment with us and we will ask you to pay your portion the day of service. If the insurance company has given misinformation about coverage and there is an unpaid balance, we will bill you for that difference.
